Dr. Bridgette Coulter began her career as a dental hygienist, but after just two years of work returned to the University of Kentucky to complete her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Following her graduation in 1990, she worked in the Lexington area before opening Gentle Dental Center in Danville, KY in 1993.
In addition to excellent dental care, Dr. Coulter and her team focus on allowing patients to relax in a soothing atmosphere. "I love my staff and we all try very hard to make people feel comfortable while they're here." She understands that patients may carry anxiety about their visit, but believes that creating a genuine, honest connection with patients helps ease some of those concerns. "We are also very preventive oriented, but we like to do it in a comprehensive way. We will take a look to find out what's going on in the entire mouth before we start specific treatment." This helps catch any underlying issues early on and keep you as healthy as possible.
In her free time, Dr. Coulter enjoys hiking, boating, and antiquing. She has two sons, John Austin and Carson. John Austin is a Georgia State Trooper and full-time member of the Georgia State SWAT Team. He and his wife are expecting twins in the new year. Carson is a recent graduate of Auburn and is a large-animal veterinarian in Maysville, KY.
